The SWAT-T, Stretch, Wrap and Tuck Tourniquet is a unique and multipurpose dressing that uses a non-latex elastic band that stretches around an extremity and tucks into itself for hours of effective pressure.
Its name provides a description for usage Stretch, Wrap, and Tuck while the graphics on the band indicate proper tourniquet pressure.
The SWAT-Tourniquet allows a more rapid means to control extremity bleeding and allows application higher into the groin and axilla than other tourniquets. Its ease of application is one of its greatest benefits; individuals can effectively apply it in seconds with little to no prior training.
It can also act as an occlusive bandage, a pressure dressing, and as an elastic bandage.
The band has been applied thousands of times and used in the sub-zero temps of Antarctica and boiled in water with no strength degradation.
The Prometheus Blast Bandage allows you to quickly package traumatic amputations, burns and large pattern wounds with minimal effort. It provides a 50cm x 50cm treatment area, but packs to 10cm x 10cm.
The large non-adherent wound pad can be easily wrapped around limbs and secured with the attached elastic wrap. It provides a large sterile protective covering for shrapnel wounds or burns. The emergency trauma bandage also offers a removable occlusive layer that will cover a 48cm x 48cm area or can be used to cover abdominal contents minimising the loss of heat and moisture.
Velcro Control strips prevent the elastic roll from accidentally unravelling and secure the bandage throughout the application process. By providing multiple points of adhesion, the brakes prevent slippage of the elastic during the wrapping process. This creates a more secure, effective bandage and decreases the chance of the wound being exposed during movement.

The Critical Injury Pack is designed to provide immediate, life-saving first aid to someone who has sustained a severe bleeding injury in the workplace. UK Ambulance Services are targeted on reaching a patient within 8 minutes, however, when dealing with catastrophic bleeding every second counts and can mean the difference between life and death. There is nothing in the standard Small/Medium/Large First Aid Kits that be used to stem a catastrophic bleed. Recent Health & Safety Executive guidance now recommends employers provide Haemostatic Dressings and Tourniquets in their first aid provisions for employees working with an identified risk of obtaining severe bleeding injuries.
The Critical Injury Pack is designed to be issued one per person (obviously only to employees exposed to the risk). The injured person then has their pack used on them, rather than a first aider using their pack on someone else. The HSE recommends that employers arrange training for staff if tourniquets and/or haemostatic dressings are provided in the workplace.
The Critical Injury Pack is also intended for Drop/Throw distribution in the event of a mass casualty incident; such as a terrorist attack. Police can’t allow Paramedics into the hot zone of any mass casualty incident until it has been declared safe. This can take a long time, especially if there a lot of areas to clear and this may be too long for the immediate treatment that is required for the types of severe bleeding injuries which are incurred in these types of situations. The Critical Injury Pack can be stored in bulk to allow bystanders and patients already in the restricted areas to treat wounds.
